I guess if there was a „mild“ correction it would not be suitable to start a new portfolio right?
Not necessarily. So it isn’t so much a “correction” in percentage terms that gets us interested in buying. It’s when we get a mix of (1) the QQQ RSI falls to 30 or below on the daily chart; (2) the $NYMO falls under -100; (3) the $VIX RSI goes above 70 on the daily; (4) the $VIX both opens and closes above its upper b-band and/or some other signals we look at.
The most important signal being the daily RSI. Obviously, it’s better/best if the QQQ falls at least 10% as that reduces overall risk. But other indicator can easily get us to launch a new portfolio.
Thank you, I‘ll wait for that alert then:)
Where do you get $NYMO ? Is this available on Yahoo Finance and if so, how/where?
To track the $NYMO (New York McClellan Oscillator) you need to use a charting app like Stockcharts.com
Someone made a reddit post on r/NVDA_Stock asking where you were, I thought it was pretty funny. I had just enough time to tell them you had you’re own website before the mods took down the post.
Dieselcock is a legend spoken about in whispers
If the market leans in a clearer bull direction this morning, should we consider selling the Targaryan’s PUT to recover some of its cost while there’s still some value?
So until QQQ moves decisively in one direction, we got to keep it on. Notice how quickly it was able to reverse today and push down to $497 despite opening at $506. How the QQQ trades near the close will give us a much stronger idea than how it trades during the open or first half of the session.
And then we still have tomorrow which is a Friday. As you saw last Friday, in nervous environments, there’s often unloading that happens on Fridays.
