So Sam by saying …Now I do think a big reason the markets haven’t just taken off as we’ve seen historically after a pull-back like this is the massive $7.50 gap the NASDAQ-100 still needs to fill. … are you looking at 480? Just want to add this alert to my watch list to add more position if it does hit. thx
BTW, there are 350K NVDA 125call which really keep NV from going beyond 125 today.
So the gap is from $470 to $477.50. Obviously if the QQQ falls under $480, that’s a major alert. It’s worth closely watching at point.
But the real line of support is $477.50. If the QQQ falls under that, it starts to fill the gap.
The gap doesn’t have to be filled on this pullback and we do see gaps left unfilled for long periods of time.
But I do think for now it’s kind of acting like a gravity well. It’s causing some indecision in the market place and the QQQ seems to want to hang around the low $480’s.
If that gap didn’t exist, I’m pretty sure the QQQ would be rallying right now.
Chances are it doesn’t get filled. The base case is 3-4% pullback on 5 days. The QQQ has already fulfilled both criteria.
Thanks, Sam. It’s pretty tricky to time the market , I’ll keep monitoring QQQ closely!!!
I finished reading Chapters 1 to 3 on investing basics, and understand that we build our positions during market corrections. Since I’m joining late, and missed this week’s buying opportunity, should I wait or do you think it’s safe to invest on NVDA as it is now?
What do you think about META?
Hey Sam, I just wanted to ask if you expect to outperform the S&P 500/NASDAQ 100 ? over the longer term? I mean Iam sure you do, since what would be the point otherwise:) I just ask since i just hear verywhere that one should just buy ETF`s since even the majority of professional fund managers dont beat the market?
